I finally went to Primark. I hadn't been in sooo long as I don't really have a local one, and I was so excited to go. I had to be quite restricted, because I could have easily spent £100+. But to be fair I didn't buy much at all.

OOTD - Western Girl

Top/Poncho/Batwinged top - Blue Inc
Canvas green shorts - New Look
Wedges - New Look
Tassle bag- New Look
Looking at these pictures I get a very 'cowgirl' vibe going on with the whole tassel bag and 'poncho oversized' top. But we'll go for that vibe...

Tartan was something that when I was younger and  whenever someone mentioned my mind instantly thought of kilts, and just traditional dress. I never thought that one day I would be in love with wearing tartan as a fashion statement.

Current Obsessions

Recently I have been obsessing over quite a few things. So therefore I thought I'd blog about them! Where to start...ummm...

Topshop Satchel

I received this beauty for my birthday and it hasn't been off my shoulder since. It's a crisp white and fits my junk in it perfectly. It makes an outfit look super cute and well put together. It goes with everything in my wardrobe and I have officially fallen in love with a satchel!

Benefit 'How to look your best at everything!' kit

I also received this for my birthday from some lovely family friends, they had seen me eyeing it up at the benefit counter so they kindly brought it for me. In the set it has the Porefessional, 2 boi-ing concealers (new favourite!), Hello flawless oxygen wow foundation and finally the Hello Flawless powder. All of these products work incredibly well, and they all go together so nicely. They all match my skin tone perfectly, and I never want to run out of it. I would defiantly recommend this if you want to try these products before buying the full sized version!

Company magazine

I have read company magazine for well over a year now, and each month it never disappoints. I love how they always include bloggers, and how each issue has a theme. It's easy to read and I love the layout in general. The way they incorporate different topics without it turning into a boring review magazine will never fail to amaze me. Overall I am a huge fan of Company, and I was lucky enough to receive a subscription for my birthday so I cannot wait for that to start!

Topshop Joni Jeans

I don't know whether these count as I brought them fairly recently but I am in love. I have never owned a pair of jeans before this week *gasp*, I made the plunge and brought the Joni jeans. I have always thought how nice they looked, but always refused to buy them because of the price (£36). When I tried them on I instantly knew they needed to join my wardrobe. They are soo comfy, its just like wearing leggings, they fit like a glove on me and are super flattering. These are well worth the price-tag. I'm getting way to excited over a pair of jeans. *calm yourself Ellie*

High Low skirt

This skirt is stunning. It has the most incredible print on, which doesn't show up but it's beautiful. It has a beautiful tiger on the back and is gorgeous. It's quite short but does come with a little white under-skirt. It's absolutely gorgeous. You can dress it up or down, with heels or converses. Either way would look really nice. This comes from H&M and once again I received it from the same family friends who got me the Benefit set (thank you!!).

Hope you enjoyed that! Yesterday I went out for a meal with my family to celebrate my sisters amazing GCSE results. Apart from doing a spot of shopping today I haven't really done much. As you can tell I have such a busy social life, not. Anyway, I'm off to go and read Company in my bed listening to Gabrielle Aplin. Perfection.

Live for the moment + giveaway winner!

I have had no inspiration at all recently. Bloggers block. I have all sorts of posts plans but me being my OCD self, I have written them in my diary to go up on different days, not yet. But forgot to schedule one/two  for this week, so here I am improvising!
Then after spending a frustrating half an hour, it clicked, photography. Sometimes I know my pictures aren't the best, due to time limits, current weather (as I use natural lighting), all sorts. But photography is a hobby of mine. I find it incredibly relaxing and the outcomes can be really rewarding.
Sometimes I use my dads DSLR, which will one day be mine... oh it will... but other days I just use my Fujifilm finepix S2970.
I'm going to start posting more pictures of my own, and writing a little daily 'this is what has happened today', but for this picture I thought I'd just introduce it!!
Any who as for my summer holiday so far, lets just say I have no social life. It's just me and my computer. But that's another story...
Finally the giveaway winner, I did a giveaway with Punky Princess and thought I'd offically announce the winner, the winner is....Amreena Roshon! I have emailed you, so if you could get back to me within the next two days I would be very grateful! Thanks to everyone that entered, this won't be the last giveaway so don't worry if you didn't win!!

Birthday Haul!

I'm back, did you miss me? of course. ahahaha, only joking. For the last 2 weeks I have been soaking up the glorious french heat and lounging around the pool, perfection. Apart from the withdrawal symptoms from blogging due to the fact that there was no wifi, but i gradually got over that! It was fab! ahah!
Anyway lets get onto my birthday haul, and I shall stop rambling...
*disclaimer - I am not trying to brag in anyway, I just knew that a lot of people love this types of posts!
Please excuse the dodgy camera quality, I took these on a really old camera but desperately wanted to blog.

I think I'm going to start off talking about my new best friend. Forget friends, my social life has forever disappeared. I am in love with a bag. Just look at this beautiful satchel. I can't even describe how perfect it is. Its the perfect size, the perfect colour, the perfect everything. It comes from Topshop and it was so unexpected but now I have fallen for the satchel craze.
Naked 2 palette. Oh gee wizz. I have used this nonstop, I literally have joined the bandwagon on the whole Naked craze. This is such an amazing palette, and is now a firm favourite. It also comes with a little 'lippy-glossy-thingy' which is super minty and makes my lips tingle (don't know whether that's positive or not...), and also a double ended eyeshadow brush which is lovely.
Talking about brushes I have also received a ton of makeup brushes. The real techniques brushes are incredible, for the price, quality, the way it applies, density. Wowza.
THE TEENAGE VOGUE BOOK HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN. I forgot to put it in the picture, but I was lucky enough to receive that. Which is perfect for me as it's all about how to get careers in the fashion industry and beauty industry. It's good stuff.
Talking about books 'Wreck this journal', is my new hobby. I could spend all day going the little 'tasks', they amuse me so much. Yes, I do know I'm late on all of these 'crazes'!
Sleek face contour is highly recommended by me if you're fair skinned and can't find a bronzer/contour that doesn't make you look orange. I'm in love with it. There will be a review on that, don't worry!
Look at those socks with the dog on. Adorable, psisnfqaejgns. Love love love. They're from Topshop if you're interested.
CK shock one is heaven in a bottle. So for all the people out there who call me smelly Ellie (as a joke), mwhahah you cannot use that one on me anymore!
Flipflops/tshirt - Super comfy and I have worn them all holiday!

Wow, that was long! I am in the blogging flow again! I hope you've enjoyed that, I'm now off to see what social plans I have got going on see whats in the fridge. Then catch up on sleep, because well... I don't really have a reason! I also have some really nice blog posts coming up, and a lot more fashiony ones. Adios omegos.
