I am back. After a long and painful period of not being able to blog due to a virus on my computer, we have sorted it all out and ended up getting a new laptop. I thought as my first post back, I thought I would write a review! I am a big beauty lover, yet over the last few months seem to have neglected beauty posts on my blog. Anyway, enough with me rambling on...

The L'oreal True Match has been on my wish list forever, and after recently seeing some of my favourite bloggers rave about it, I knew I had to get it. I brought the foundation in 'golden ivory', which is shade W1.

Firstly, I love the fact it has a pump. I have had far too many experiences of pouring out too much, and it going all over me (*cough* revlon colourstay *cough*). Therefore having a pump is very convenient and like most drugstore brands you don't have to pay for the pump!

The overall finish of this foundation is matte, which I love due to having oily skin! It keeps my skin matte for around 6-8 hours, which for me is incredible. After 6-8 hours, I just add a bit of powder and it's perfect. It stays on my face for around 10-11 hours, which is amazing for the small price you pay of £9.99.

It blends into your skin easily and smoothly, and the final look is flawless. It covers all of my many imperfections and my face full of discolouration, which is a very big task due to having rubbish skin. Some foundations I have tried look cakey and its obvious you're wearing foundation, yet with this it looks natural but covers and gives you  flawless complexion. Who doesn't want flawless looking skin?

I would definitely recommend this foundation to people with oily/combination skin! I'm not too sure whether people with dry/normal skin would like this, it may depend on the finish you like (matte or dewy) and whether this would emphasise your dry areas etc. Overall it has great medium coverage, it is very blendable and makes your skin look amaaaaazing. This is definitely one of my favourite foundations I have ever used, and will now be a staple in my everyday makeup.

This weekend for me is full of partying, going out with friends, scrolling through asos, reading blogs, revision and eating. After what felt like years, all of my art prep was finished and handed in last week, which means I have none to do this weekend and it feels amazing. I'm usually sat at the table, painting, mounting, sticking in, annotating, drawing, and it is boring to say the least. Instead, I've got maths and science revision to entertain me. How fun.

Comment, follow and all that jazz!

  1. Sounds like an amazing light weight foundation and I've heard it's supposed to be a dupe for Armani which makes it even more attractive :o) Xx
