WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO...

For todays post I thought I would do a little 'update', because although I do ramble a lot, I feel as though I don't ever just sit and update you guys a lot. Plus I love reading posts about peoples weeks, because i'm ridiculously nosy.

Rediscovered my love for face paint
Last night I went to a birthday party which was a mad hatters tea party, we all had to dress up and I decided to go as the Cheshire Cat. After hours of watching youtube tutorials, I went for it and did a massive Cheshire Cat smile, with purple smokey eyes and purple contouring, a cat nose and whiskers... you get the picture. Although it wasn't perfect (as it was my first attempt), it wasn't awful and I had a lot of fun doing it. It has also sparked my love for special effect makeup!

My obsession with bananas
Ahhh bananas, they're my favourite fruit ever. I could literally eat them all day. This week I seemed to have eaten a ridiculous amount of them. I am also 'attempting' to be on a health kick, so bananas are being my replacement for chocolate. Although, as much as I love bananas, chocolate will always be the favourite.

Revision
I hate revision. Those three words sum up my attitude whenever I have to sit down, focus and just revise. I am currently revising for science exams, and it's going okay. It could be going better, but at least I've started. Although I am starting to panic a bit, as I've just realised how close they actually are. hmmmmm, I should probably revise after writing this.

Started wearing blusher
I never used to wear blusher as I have naturally rosy cheeks, and felt as though it made my cheeks look like strawberries. But when my auntie kindly gave me this palette, as she never used it, I fell in love. Each blusher is amazingly pigmented, and gives a nice glow to the skin. I have also mastered where to apply blusher without making me look like a strawberry, wooo better late than never!

I hope you all had a lovely week and are enjoying the bank holiday weekend, it's such a lovely feeling knowing that you don't have to go to school tomorrow. If only it was like every week...
